How to Access Safe Mode in Windows 8 and 8.1

Windows 8.1 presents the many changes and improvements as well as the use of some functions with different versions of Windows 8. One of them, namely to access Safe Mode. Safe Mode is sometimes necessary if Windows operating systems have problems, especially related to software or drivers. On earlier versions of Windows, to access Safe Mode you live press the F8 key before starting the startup display which it is no longer valid in Windows 8 and 8.1. Here are a few ways to access Safe Mode in Windows 8 and 8.1 (which some of them have slightly different ways):
First way (valid in Windows 8 and 8.5)


The way that arguably the most easy-to-use tool that is the default Windows using the command msconfig. You tap keys combination Windows + R, type in msconfig and press enter. Entry to the Boot tab and enable the Safe boot and Minimal. Click Apply and OK and then restart.


Second way (valid in Windows 8 and 8.1)


1. press the Windows key + I to access the sidebar menu and click the Power button. Press the Shift key while you click the Restart function. Later you will find a blue colored screen with menu options Continue, Troubleshoot, and Turn off your PC. You can choose Troubleshoot > Advanced Options.


2. in the menu, select the Startup Settings. A list of options will appear that will be displayed when the process restarts Windows. Click Restart to get it started. After a restart the Startup option Settings will appear such as the Safe Mode options. To choose one of them, you can press button F1 to F9 according choice. And Safe Mode you can activate by pressing the F4 key.

Third way (valid in Windows 8 and 8.1) 
Point your mouse to the bottom right corner to perform menu Charm bar (or press the Windows key + C). Click Settings To Change PC Settings > > General > Advanced Startup. Click Restart now and will automatically restart and go into Safe Mode.


Fourth way (valid in Windows 8 and 8.1)


As mentioned earlier, press the F8 key when the computer is turned on is not valid here. But Microsoft has a new method, namely by holding down the Shift key and pressing the F8 key rapidly. This way it is kind of a little bit difficult because the operating system Windows 8 and 8.1 using the boot method that is quicker than any other version of Windows. Even the few times we had a chance to experience a failure to try it. But this trick comes from Microsft official, and you can try it out repeatedly. If successful, you will find pages of recovery mode. Click See advanced repair options > Troubleshoot. And you will go into the Advanced options menu. Only in this way can not be applied if your computer uses a BIOS and UEFI media save form of SSD.
